Peak Design, as I’ve stated before is the Apple of camera bag and accessory design. Their modern look, extremely functional engineering, and general usefullness are what I love most. The “Everyday” line of bags is truly made for everyday use, and their accessories are some of the most functional and arguably most well designed in the business. They’ve seen a massive amount of success because of their engineering and design, and are continuing to release new products for creatives.
Peak Design have released two new products that, and they’re worthy of you taking a look. The first is the all new Leash. Check some specs on the all new Peak Design Leash:
- New all aluminum anodized hardware
- New low-profile dual aluminum/Hypalon quick-adjustment system
- Anchor connectors revamped – more secure, fast, and lower profile than ever
- New low-profile Anchor Mount for varying your strap configuration
- New ultra-smooth twist-resistant nylon webbing with tighter, more durable weave
- Premium materials and refined aesthetics for touch/stress point
- Choose from new Black and Ash color-ways

I’ve been a longtime user of the Peak Design Slide strap. I shoot both Sony and Canon. When I shoot Sony, I’ve been wanting a smaller strap. The new Leash is perfect for that. It’s super light, yet strong, and connects via the same Anchor Links. (p.s. Peak Design have also redesigned the Anchor Links). The Leash comes in two colors, Black and Ash, and will retail for $39.99.

The second new product is the Peak Design Cuff. I’ve really never been one to use wrist or hand straps, mainly because I find them too thick and cumbersome. Peak Design have used the same great Leash materials in the Cuff, and have made a very lightweight, well designed wrist strap. Check out the specs:
- New all aluminum anodized hardware
- New 1-handed adjusting design
- Adjuster locks in open wrist loop position
- Magnetic wrist lock for storing as a bracelet
- Anchor connectors revamped – more secure, fast, lower profile than ever
- New ultra-smooth twist resistant nylon webbing with tighter, more durable weave
- Premium materials and refined aesthetics
- Choose from new Black and Ash color-ways
Not only is this a super lightweight wrist strap, but the Peak Design Cuff also attached via the same Anchor Links. If you don’t want to use it, you can detach via the links. The Cuff has a magnet inside it, and it can stay on your wrist as a bracelet. This handy design isn’t something I’ve seen before, and makes a lot of sense. The Peak Design Cuff also comes in Black and Ash, with Ash being my favorite. Retailing at only $29.99, you should seriously pick one up if you’re a mirrorless shooter.
